Thoroughly Poetic Pictorial Thursday#100

Today we join Two  SPOILED CATS
Angel Sammy and Teddy for their poetic pictorial poem.

Today's inspiration

Jitterbug

Dancers have great rhythm!
Movin' and groovin' to the tunes
They must practice their moves over and over.
He in the gym she in the studio
Cheek to cheek eyes locked on the other's
She must trust him as they bend and stretch
as he sweeps her off her feet.

Side story:
When I was a senior in high school, adult volunteers were needed.   My dad was an electrical contractor.   I volunteered by Daddy to help with the lighting.  Daddy always had a good eye
for detail.  It was a magical night.
Little did I know, my parents and the other adult volunteers, would be asked to be chaperones at the Prom. When the music started, most of the kids didn't move.
The adults were the first on the floor...all about my parent's age.
Lo and behold they all started dancing the Jitterbug.
I had no idea my parents could move like that.
