Today we join Two SPOILED CATS
Angel Sammy and Teddy for their poetic pictorial poem.
Bathing beauties dressed to impress
or dressed under duress?
Way back in their day
Roaring twenties, dancing, gaiety and play.
Styles come and go but here's hoping
their style is a no SHOW!!
I've been sorting thru my parent's photo albums during confinement.
(this project is way over due) This photo reminded me of some early 1930 photos I have of my
Mom, Lou and her sister (my favorite aunt) Ruth
They were #'s 6 and #7 of 7 children
born about 14 months apart when my Annie Ma (maternal grandmother)
who was ~42 and 44 when they were born
I don't know what the occasion was for the photos or why they appeared
to be dressed to impress.
I do know the bouquet and hair bow fit my Mother's personality.
Very gentle an loved to dress up.
Aunt Ruth's pose was probably all her doing.
She was my favorite aunt because she was crazy and fun
and always full of surprises.
